In order to encourage various business sectors to implement proper waste management, resource minimization, recycle and reuse, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), based on the “Incentives and award rules for institutions with proven performance on waste management as well as resource minimization, recycle and reuse”, has implemented a selection program for “Performance Awards on Waste Management, Resource Minimization, Recycle and Reuse” to honor institutions for their efforts and excellent performance on waste management, resource minimization, recycle and reuse. In addition, the EPA has sponsored demonstration seminars and site tours to the award winners, for sharing their experience and distinguished performance with others.
